The TIACA Sustainability Awards recognise outstanding initiatives that promote sustainable practices, enhance operational efficiency and contribute to a greener future.
Companies, organisations and individuals are invited to submit applications showcasing sustainable projects, technologies or best practices.
CHAMP Cargosystems has been supporting the TIACA Sustainability Awards since they were launched in 2019.
Steven Polmans, Chairman of TIACA, says, “We are thrilled to have CHAMP Cargosystems continue their support of the annual Sustainability awards. This continued partnership underscores our strong commitment to driving environmental responsibility and innovation within our industry.”
Chris McDermott, CEO of CHAMP Cargosystems, adds, “Forging a sustainable future for air cargo is a crucial priority that can only be achieved through shared values, strong partnerships, and continuous innovation. We look forward to seeing this year's entries and creating a more sustainable air cargo industry.”
The application period has opened and interested participants have until 30 April to make their submissions, which can be made here.
A panel of industry experts will evaluate entries based on impact, scalability and innovation, with the winner being announced at the TIACA Executive Summit, which will be held in Hong Kong from 24-26 June.
There is a Corporate Category for an established corporation, an international organisation or a scholar with a longstanding presence in the air cargo industry.
The other category is the Start-Up and Small Business Prize, which recognises growing and small businesses with a $10,000 cash prize for the winner and $2,500 each for two runners-up.
Glyn Hughes, Director General of TIACA, says, “The continued cooperation between TIACA and CHAMP Cargosystems shows a strong commitment to a sustainable air cargo industry. We look forward to seeing the innovations that the industry is working on that will impact our industry and push us toward a more sustainable future.”
