After receiving its AOC from China's civil aviation authorities, new cargo carrier Tianjin Air Cargo is soon to begin freight services.

The North China Regional Administration of the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued the AOC on August 16, under the CCAR-Part 121, China's operation specification for major passenger airliners and cargo fleet carriers.
With this certification, Tianjin Air Cargo, which was jointly founded by the municipal government and Hainan Airlines Group (HNA), is authorised to conduct air cargo services. The airline is based in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and has 700m yuan ($101.7m) in registered capital.
China's air freight industry has seen a surge in recent years. The country transported 7.06m tons of air freight cargo in 2017, a 5.6% increase year-on-year.
