Chrono Aviation takes delivery of first 737-800SF

Chrono Aviation has taken delivery of a Boeing 737-800SF, the first one in Canada, which will enter service in January 2022.

The aircraft will be based in Winnipeg, establishing Chrono Aviation’s presence in western Canada and creating 20 new jobs.

The 737-800SF has a range of 2,000 nautical miles and can transport up to 23.5 tonnes, with emissions 20% lower per tonne of cargo carried than previous generations of Boeing cargo aircraft.

Vincent Gagnon, President of the Chrono Aviation Group says: “With this aircraft, we will be able to transport any cargo to about any destination, both in Canada and around the world. Adding the 800 SF was part of our growth strategy, but increased demand in the international market and from some of our current customers has advanced our long-term expectations.”
