Burger has been with Dachser since 2009, holding various positions until he was appointed Deputy Director Air & Sea Logistics in 2019, serving as Podesta’s right-hand man.
During that time, he was initially global sales manager for the air and sea freight business and he led the EMEA business unit’s operations as Managing Director in 2021 and 2022.
Podesta, who joined Dachser following the acquisition of a joint venture, is retiring after 20 years with the company.
