North America Drones
Drone Delivery Canada has been given approval to operate over populated areas, making deliveries in towns and cities possible.

The Transport Canada declaration allows the Canary to operate in compliance with the regulatory framework, demonstrating its advanced safety features and meeting stringent requirements to fly over the public.

It opens up opportunities for Drone Delivery Canada to provide drone services in urban areas, enhancing last-mile logistics and improving efficiency for businesses and organisations.

Steve Magirias, CEO of Drone Delivery Canada, says, “This recognition is a testament to our relentless dedication to safety and innovation. With this milestone achieved, we are poised to expand our drone delivery operations and bring the benefits of our technology to even more communities and industries across the country and potentially internationally.”

The Canary has a payload of up to 4.5kg, a range greater than 20km, real-time communication and tracking systems, an integrated scale and a 50% reduction in the number of batteries needed in comparison to the Drone Delivery Canada Sparrow.

For safety, the Canary has a state-of-the-art parachute recovery system, allowing it to fly over populated areas.

It is equipped with multiple redundant systems and fail-safe mechanisms, which Drone Delivery Canada says gives the Canary the highest levels of safety for operators and the public.
