Delta Cargo ships four millionth Covid vaccine to Colombia

Delta Cargo has shipped its four millionth Covid-19 vaccine dose from the US to Colombia as the airline helps end the pandemic.

Once the vaccines arrived in Bogota, Delta Cargo worked with a local freight company to ensure they were delivered to where they were needed.

Carolina Vernanza, Delta’s Airport and Cargo Manager in Bogota says: “With over 50 million people living in Colombia, the arrival of 4 million Covid-19 vaccines is a major boost and will really help Colombians to get closer to the country's vaccination goals.”

Rob Walpole, Vice President of Delta Cargo adds: “These vaccine shipments to Latin America are part of our continued focus on the safe and reliable transportation of these critical vaccines throughout the US and internationally.”
