The certificate to promote best practices and globally accepted standards recognises DHL Global Forwarding’s expertise in meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements for handling valuable, time-sensitive and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical products.
Since 2016, DHL Global Forwarding has certified its global stations to IATA CEIV Pharma standards.
Max Sauberschwarz, Head of Global Air Freight at DHL Global Forwarding, says, “The award underlines the continuous improvement of our service quality and reliability as a partner for processing and transporting vital and temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products.”
Independent audits and on-site training gave DHL quality seals for its 33 stations which handle life sciences and healthcare airfreight shipments.
At DHL Global Forwarding, a dedicated Certified Life Sciences Specialist (CLSS) training is provided to all employees involved in life sciences and healthcare shipments.
The mandatory training makes sure that sensitive shipments at all 111 DHL GxP stations are handled in accordance with the highest industry standards.
