DHL renews with Aviator at airports in Sweden and Norway

DHL and Aviator Airport Alliance have renewed their handling contract at airports in Sweden and Norway for three years.

The agreement started on 1 February, covering services at Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Sweden and the Norwegian airports of Stavanger, Bergen, Ålesund, Kristiansand and Trondheim.

Aviator will provide DHL with ground handling and deicing services for 1,560 departures a year from the Norwegian airports and 350 from Arlanda.

Jo Alex Tanem, CEO of Aviator Airport Alliance, says, “This contract that covers six of our 15 stations in Nordics is a clear recognition of the professional efforts our teams have made to meet the high standards of service that DHL expects across our stations.”

Michael Sweiger, Head of Airport Affairs at DHL Express, adds, “Our relationship, built on trust and mutual respect, gives us confidence that this partnership will continue to prosper for years to come. Partnerships like the one with Aviator are an integral part of our continued success.”

Aviator has been providing DHL with handling services at Arlanda airport since 2010 and at the Norwegian airports since 2011.
