dnata and Qatar Airways extend Brussels Airport contract

dnata and Qatar Airways Cargo have extended their partnership in Belgium with a multi-year contract at Brussels Airport.

The contract extension will see dnata delivering cargo handling and road feeder services from its facility at Brussels Airport.

Qatar Airways Cargo operates 15 freighter and passenger flights a week to and from Brussels Airport.

Stef Vanbinst, Managing Director of dnata Belgium says: “We are proud to have earned the trust and loyalty of Qatar Airways Cargo with our reliable and safe services. We continue to invest in our operations to consistently provide world-class quality to the airline and its customers.”

The service provider entered the Belgian cargo market in 2019 and its cargo centre at Brussels Airport covers 7,000 square metres.

It also operates the Animal Care & Inspection Centre, a 2,000 square metre facility to handle live animals.

In 2021, dnata handled 80,000 tonnes of cargo at Brussels Airport.
