Dronamics has named Gavin Gomes as Chief Revenue Officer, a role he will start on 1 January 2024.

Gomes has led commercial and management teams at companies including Australia Post, Canon, Telstra and IBM, and has served as Dronamics’ General Manager Australia since August this year.

He will succeed Tim Martin, who is leaving Dronamics to explore other opportunities.

His appointment comes as Dronamics prepares to launch commercial operations, starting in Greece, with the rest of the Mediterranean to follow, as well as the Gulf region and Australia.

Dronamics has secured launch customers including Hellman Worldwide Logistics, Hellenic Post, Emirates Post Group and Aramex.

It is looking to establish itself in market verticals including e-commerce, parcel and post, perishables, pharma and spare parts.

Svilen Rangelov, Co-Founder and CEO of Dronamics, says, “His leadership qualities are not only impressive but also align perfectly with our company culture. Gavin's capacity to motivate commercial teams and navigate challenges skilfully is remarkable. We are thrilled to leverage his vast experience and expertise as we embark on the next stage of our company's growth.”
