EAS sees charter traffic grow

Over a period of a few weeks EAS International has arranged charters for around 48,000 kilogrammes of automotive parts in conjunction with Paris-Vatry airport.

Customers have called on EAS International, because of its expertise in the automotive sector for more than 30 years, in order to confront the pandemic and minimise the delay of production. During these operations, EAS International and Paris-Vatry Airport teams were mobilised around the clock to ensure the setting up of charters in shortest possible time and guarantee a fast delivery to the final clients.

To carry out this work, 25 charters have been realised in non-EU countries since September.

"These operations prove how much the air cargo sector has the capacity to answer quickly to load variations in the industrial sector. To offer an efficient solution is the priority of Paris-Vatry airport. We are so glad and proud to have been able to answer by the side of EAS International to this emergency. Once again, this collaboration demonstrates the importance to work with all people involved in the supply chain," declared Christophe Parois, Director of Paris-Vatry airport.
