Eastern Air Logistics makes capacity available on cargo.one

Eastern Air Logistics is making capacity from China Eastern Airlines and China Cargo Airlines available on cargo.one.

Using the digital booking platform will give Eastern Air Logistics access to thousands of freight forwarders and cargo.one is helping guide the group and maximise its digitalisation journey.

Eastern Air Logistics has access to China Cargo Airlines’ Boeing 747 and 777 freighter fleet and the belly capacity of almost 800 China Eastern Airlines passenger aircraft.

Adding Eastern Air Logistics to the cargo.one platform gives freight forwarders in almost 5,000 forwarding offices instant access to capacity into China and across Asia Pacific.

Jonathan Xu, General Manager of Logistics Solutions Business Department at Eastern Air Logistics, says, “Our close collaboration with the cargo.one team over the past months stands out and forcefully boosts our trajectory to become the most innovative integrated logistics service provider. A clear benefit of partnering with cargo.one is the strength of its insights, proactive partnership support and the valuable best practices for digital that we are gaining for our first steps into digital distribution.”

Moritz Claussen, Founder and Co-CEO of cargo.one, adds, “It is a real pleasure to work alongside Eastern Air Logistics as they leverage our substantial market force, and benefit from the only next generation multilateral marketplace, and one loved by forwarders.”

From this summer, freight forwarders will be able to book Eastern Air Logistics capacity using cargo.one, gaining access to important trade lanes between China and Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
