On Sunday 19 January, China Eastern Airlines will launch flights between Casablanca and Shanghai Pudong via Marseille, operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays using a Boeing 787-9 with 18 tons of cargo capacity.
The service is primarily designed to support the automotive industry by offering timely connections between Morocco and China.
It will strengthen supply chains and foster deeper trade relations and economic growth between the two countries.
Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of ECS Group, says, “This partnership with China Eastern Airlines marks a key milestone for EFIS Maroc and ECS Group. Combining our regional expertise with innovative tools, we aim to redefine standards in efficiency and reliability for cargo logistics.”
EFIS Maroc will utilise ECS Group’s global network and digital tools including Squair, its customs reporting optimisation tool, which is combined with CargoAi’s advanced digital booking platform to streamline operations and enhance transparency.
