
The airline has started 2025 with 15% more cargo capacity than in 2024, with the strong growth seen last year not showing signs of slowing down soon.
The multi-year lease agreement was signed with Compass Group, a long-standing partner to immediately unlock capacity to cater for demand.
They are looking to further expand the partnership, says Emirates SkyCargo.
Leasing aircraft adds to Emirates SkyCargo’s fleet, which grew with two Boeing 777Fs in 2024 that entered service to focus on e-commerce shipments from Asian markets.
Emirates SkyCargo has 10 Boeing 777Fs and six wet-leased B747Fs in its fleet with 13 B777Fs expected to join the fleet in 2025 and 2026.
In the next phase of growth, Emirates SkyCargo will add B777-8Fs and Airbus A350Fs to its fleet.
