Envirotainer launches Releye RAP container

Pharma ULDs
Envirotainer has launched the Releye RAP, capable of carrying five Euro pallets while being watched over by the Control Tower managed service.

It is designed to meet the strictest requirements for transporting pharmaceuticals, and the integrated live monitoring offers insights into product condition, location and progress of the shipment.

The RAP is the second in the advanced temperature-controlled family, joining the three-pallet Releye RLP launched in 2021.

Envirotainer says that the Releye RAP offers the best value and lowest CO2 footprint in the air cargo industry because of its internal volume making more efficient use of space.

The Envirotainer Control Tower offers a global team of operators to follow the shipment and respond to any critical event.

Swiss WorldCargo is one of the first carriers to approve the RAP. Head of Cargo at Swiss International Air Lines, Lorenzo Stoll says: “The Releye RAP sets a new benchmark for temperature-controlled five-pallet solutions, it combines newest technology and reaches outstanding CO2 reductions per shipment. This fully aligns with our own focus on sustainable offering and continued reduction of the carbon footprint.”

Peter Gisel-Ekdahl, CEO of Envirotainer says: “When we launched the new Releye RLP in May 2021, we raised the bar in cold chain transportation to new heights of Control, Monitoring and Autonomy. Now, with the launch of Releye RAP, we raise the bar yet another notch in terms of Value and Sustainability.”
