Etihad Cargo and WFS sign handling agreement at 12 airports

Etihad Cargo has signed a three-year agreement with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to provide cargo handling services at 12 airports across Europe, India, Asia Pacific and North America.

The three-year agreement will see WFS handling 150,000 tonnes of cargo annually.

In the EMEAA region, WFS will provide Etihad Cargo with cargo handling services in Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Bengaluru, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Madrid and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

In North America, Etihad Cargo has awarded WFS with new contracts in Boston and Chicago to go with existing operations at New York JFK and Washington Dulles.

WFS and Etihad Cargo signed their first cargo agreement in 2005 for services at Frankfurt Airport.
