The new route starts at FedEx’s Asia Pacific hub in Guangzhou, China, flying onwards to Bangalore then the UAE and on to Europe with stops in Liege and Paris.
It operates five times a week and reduces transit times by one day, offering next-day delivery to southern India, which FedEx says will benefit the high-tech and automotive industries in the region.
The new service will also speed up the movement of imports and exports between India and Europe.
Kawal Preet, President of FedEx Asia Pacific, says, “This air network enhancement is a reflection of our confidence in the future of Asia Pacific and allows us to provide smarter logistics solutions connecting businesses flexibly, efficiently, and intelligently to key markets. As demand for timely deliveries continues to rise, we are committed to providing seamless, faster, and more reliable service, helping businesses thrive during this peak holiday season and beyond.”
