FedEx Express increases capacity between Europe and Asia

FedEx Express is increasing services between Asia and Europe with a new route between Beijing and Paris.

The route connects Beijing with the FedEx Charles de Gaulle Hub in Paris with 10 connections a week via Osaka, Japan, and cut-off times for same-day outbound shipments from Beijing have been extended.

Japanese businesses shipping time or temperature-sensitive packages will also benefit from FedEx’s North Pacific Regional Hub at Kansai International Airport and CDG.

The route provides one connection a week between CDG and Singapore Changi Airport, increasing inbound capacity to Singapore by 50 tonnes.

Kawal Preet, President of the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region for FedEx Express, says, “This latest flight route is another example of our continuing efforts to enhance our operational strength and meet customer needs along a growing trade corridor. This will help importers and exporters on both sides build more nimble supply chains and give them better access to new markets.”
