
It took off from Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, Washington, at 16.10h yesterday (Tuesday 27 September).
DHL Express has ordered 12 Alices, which can be flown by a single pilot and carry 1.2 tonnes of cargo, with deliveries scheduled to start in 2024.
It will require 30 minutes or less to charge per flight hour and have a range of up to 440 nautical miles.
