GEODIS extends MyParcel network to New York and Los Angeles

GEODIS is extending its MyParcel with services at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

The small parcel delivery service serving the cross-border e-commerce sector was launched in 2020, offering links from the US to 26 continental European countries, the UK and Canada.

Adding New York and Los Angeles to the MyParcel network complements services from Chicago O’Hare International Airport and will support extending the service into new markets including Australia, New Zealand and Mexico.

Michael Lamia, Senior Vice President of GEODIS MyParcel and GEODIS eLogistics, says, “Our new gateway facilities at JFK and LAX are the latest example of how we are continually expanding GEODIS MyParcel’s reach and capabilities to best meet today’s evolving, complex and increasingly interconnected global market.”

GEODIS has duplicated its O’Hare services in New York and Los Angeles to provide same day processing to ensure expedited transit times for its customers.

The 3 gateways can take advantage of 42 weekly flights on Europe-bound passenger aircraft or GEODIS’ own leased A330-300 freighter into Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and London Stansted Airport.

Following arrival in the destination country, GEODIS MyParcel provides expedited ground shipment directly to the customer’s doorstep.

The service offers delivery in 2-7 days from the US to the end destination.

GEODIS MyParcel’s services include HS classification, before and after check duty and tax calculation, a total landed cost guarantee, reporting, duty and tax payment to tax authorities, customs clearance and last-mile delivery. In addition to full cost transparency for the end consumer, no additional fees, duties or taxes are collected at delivery.
