Global K9 Protection Group welcomes new board members

Doug Brittin and Neel Jones Shah have joined Global K9 Protection Group’s Board of Advisors.

Brittin brings over 38 years of experience, including senior roles in the transport and logistics sectors as well as in government. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Operations at his alma mater, the University of Denver, in the Transportation Institute.

Prior to this, Brittin joined the TSA as Air Cargo Manager in 2007, before being promoted to Director of the division in 2010. In 2013, he was appointed as the Secretary General of The International Air Cargo Association – a position he held for three years.

Shah (left) currently serves as EVP and Global Head of Airfreight for Flexport, a full-service freight forwarder and customs broker. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Amerijet International Holdings and is a Senior Advisor to The Boston Consulting Group.

Prior to Flexport, Shah served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Cargo Officer for Delta Air Lines and, before this, served in several capacities at United Airlines Cargo.

Brittin and Shah will provide perspective, experience and guidance for GK9PG’s Certified Cargo Screening Facility - K9 programme.
