Located within dnata’s Cargo City at Schiphol, Hermes is collaborating with Lödige Industries to develop the fully automated cargo centre following a multi-million euro investment by dnata.
Freight Building 17 will be equipped with Hermes’ latest cloud-based cargo management system, the Hermes Software as a Service (SaaS) Ecosystem for greater operational efficiency, improved oversight and greater control of ground handling processes.
Yuval Baruch, CEO of Hermes Logistics Technologies, says, “The final integrated solution demanded complicated design, and is the result of strong collaboration and careful planning between HLT, Lödige, and dnata, representing a crucial step toward adapting to the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.”
Hermes has ensured that communication between the cargo management system and the warehouse management system can handle the large volume of data and information generated.

Hermes has completed first-stage integration testing at Freight Building 17 and the solution is expected to be live at the end of the year.
