IAG Cargo connects London with Cincinnati

IAG Cargo has launched direct flights between London Heathrow and Cincinnati, Ohio, the first time it has operated the route.

The flights were launched yesterday (Monday 5 June), operating 5 days a week in summer months before being reduced to 4 a week during the winter period using a Boeing 787-8.

The route is essential for moving e-commerce and other items going to the US include automotive parts from Southeast Asia travelling via Europe as well as sporting equipment, food and drink and e-commerce items like home office equipment.

Camilo Garcia Cervera, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of IAG Cargo, says, “The transatlantic corridor is one of the world’s most important trade lanes, and a vital part of our network and so we’re pleased to support our customers with a new route to Cincinnati. With this direct route from one of our key hubs, London, customers can benefit from our wider network that spans across six continents to transport the regions high in demand imports and exports.”
