IAG Cargo reconnects transatlantic route

IAG Cargo is increasing its US schedule with access to 21 destinations as the country reopens to fully vaccinated passengers.

Customers were able to access capacity on services to New York, Austin, Miami, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, among others from 8 November.

Services to Newark have restarted and IAG Cargo will reconnect with Baltimore, Orlando, Tampa and Las Vegas from 15 November.

Increasing capacity coincides with the peak season as Black Friday, Thanksgiving and Christmas drive demand for e-commerce.

Wide-body aircraft are being used on short-haul European flights feeding into IAG Cargo’s main hubs of London Heathrow, Madrid Barajas and Dublin, offering faster delivery for customers on both sides of the Atlantic.

John Cheetham, Chief Commercial Officer of IAG Cargo says: “With peak season in full swing, one of our busiest trading lanes is linking USA, Europe and UK – this additional capacity will be of great benefit to so many of our customers.”
