The route will operate six times a week using a Boeing 787 between London Heathrow Airport and Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport.
It will complement ten flights a week between Heathrow and Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport.
Statistics from the Department for Business and Trade say that in the four quarters to the end of Q1 2024, total trade in goods and services between the UK and Saudi Arabia was £17.6 billion.
