JD Airlines has provided Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport with international cargo connections by launching flights to Hanoi, Vietnam.

The first flight touched down at the airport on Friday 28 June, connecting Wuhu City in Anhui province with the global economy through its first international cargo service.
After the flight arrived, the airport said the service will help Wuhu construct an internationally accessible air cargo network and a competitive air cargo hub.
The airport officially opened in April 2021, positioned as a medium-sized passenger airport and a specialised cargo airport.
In 2023, cargo and mail throughput exceeded 20,000 tonnes, up 314% on the previous year and in the first five months of 2024, it was up 191% to 11,600 tonnes.
