JetBlue digitalises cargo operations with CHAMP Cargospot

Aeronex Cargo has signed an agreement with CHAMP Cargosystems to migrate JetBlue Cargo to Cargospot.

Low-cost-carrier JetBlue contracted Aeronex Cargo to launch JetBlue Cargo in 2019, inheriting legacy systems which will be replaced by Cargospot in April.

JetBlue Cargo will migrate to the widely-used cargo management system Cargospot Airline, which supports bookings, accounting, rating and reporting requirements within a single platform, eliminating the need for carrier specific terminals.

Aeronex Cargo and JetBlue Cargo will also use Cargospot Handling as their cargo operations and terminal management system.

Cargospot Handling has full messaging capabilities, complete inbound and outbound handling, advanced management reporting tools and state-of-the-art technology.

Patricio Sepulveda, Founder and CEO of Aeronex Cargo, says, “We were impressed at the sophistication and simplicity of CHAMP’s Cargospot products and have been eager to embrace their continuous development. CHAMP was the logical choice for JetBlue Cargo Program and we look forward to seeing it in action.”

Tomas Moreira, Head of Sales & Account Management at CHAMP Cargosystems, adds, “This is an exciting partnership, and one that we value deeply. It is our pleasure to provide JetBlue Cargo Program with improved cargo management systems and look forward to their continued success.”
