Kales Group manages cargo services for Norse Atlantic

Kales Group is supporting Norse Atlantic Airways as it expands transatlantic by managing cargo services.

The airline is launching a number of transatlantic flights using Boeing 787-9s and under the Total Cargo Management (TCM) agreement, Norse has handed over all cargo activities to Kales.

Kales will perform all sales, administrative and operational activities including using its state-of-the-art booking system, making it Norse’s de facto cargo department.

Jennifer Bendelow, Head of Cargo at Norse Atlantic, says, “We are excited to announce our full summer 2023 schedule and be able to offer a wider network to our cargo customers alongside our valued cargo partner, Kales. This summer our cargo capacity from London Gatwick to the US will substantially increase with five Boeing 787 Dreamliners based at the airport. In addition, we will now operate direct flights to five European airport hubs from New York JFK from this summer.”

Sebastiaan Scholte, CEO of Kales Group, adds, “With its state-of-the-art cargo friendly aircraft and an excellent on time performance, Norse Atlantic is a great product which has been received very well in the market. We are very excited to be able to promote the additional routes and look forward to a promising joint future.”

Norse is operating daily flights to New York’s JFK airport from London Gatwick, and 4 a week from Berlin and Oslo.

From 26 March, it will add a daily connection between Paris Charles de Gaulle and JFK with daily flights from Rome being added in June.

This summer, Norse will operate several new transatlantic routes from Gatwick with 6 a week to Washington D.C. from 1 June, daily flights to Los Angeles from 30 June, 3 a week to San Francisco from 1 July and 5 a week to Boston from 2 September.
