The AN-124 flew from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates yesterday (Tuesday 29 March) with 111 tonnes of aid sources from UNICEF’s warehouse in Dubai.
The aid landed in Poland in the evening and will be trucked to Ukraine.
The shipment was covered by Kuehne + Nagel’s 10 million Swiss franc pledge of air for the Ukrainian people.

It is symbolic in itself that today we can make one of the largest deliveries of aid to Ukraine with a Ukrainian Antonov airplane.
