
The 100% SAF-powered flight was operated on Tuesday 28 November between London’s Heathrow Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
Kuehne + Nagel secured the available cargo space on the SAF-powered flight and utilised the corresponding amount of SAF for the transported goods.

The SAF used to power the two Rolls-Royce 1000 engines on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner was produced by Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids and Synthetic Aromatic Kerosine at an 88% SAF and 12% SAK blend ratio.
