Kuehne + Nagel renews IATA CEIV Pharma certificate

Kuehne + Nagel has completed its third consecutive IATA CEIV Pharma certification for its air logistics healthcare network.

CEIV Pharma was created alongside aviation industry stakeholders and regulators to improve safety, security, compliance and efficiency in handling pharmaceuticals.

The recertification makes Kuehne + Nagel the first company to have over 100 CEIV Pharma-certified stations with coverage at stations in 66 countries.

Harsha Ranasinghe, SVP Global Head of Air Logistics Products & Services at Kuehne + Nagel, says, “In 2017, Kuehne + Nagel became the first to attain CEIV Pharma certification for its healthcare air network. Since then, we continue to collaborate with IATA to drive superior quality and compliance by setting new standards for pharmaceutical handling excellence within air freight.”
