The audit included an extensive documentary pre-audit and a detailed examination of the implementation of quality assurance procedures.
The last audit took place in 2017 and preparations for this year’s audit, which was carried out by independent auditors SGS, started last year.
Among other things, it looked at the implementation of Cargo iQ’s milestone system to evaluate performance and the development of Lufthansa Cargo’s quality management, especially continuous improvement measures.
Lufthansa Cargo’s three star performance was helped by strong results in the categories of corporate social responsibility, innovative spirit, and contribution to the Cargo iQ community.
