
He will work on ALI alongside his other major position as Senior Business Editor of The Moodie Davitt Report, the world’s number one travel retail title, which was acquired by Mark Allen Group last year.
Mark has worked for the leading travel retail title for the past seven years, primarily covering airport retail, food & beverage and other aviation-related business stories.
His previous roles include News & Features Editor for UK Ministry of Defence title Defence Contracts Bulletin and many years as Managing Editor of the British Chamber of Commerce’s Global Trader, Worldwide Export and Learning & Skills guides. He was also Launch Editor of the title Global Airports for Ten Alps plc.
His career in specialist business-to-business publishing stretches to over 30 years.
Mark’s brief for ALI is to introduce new interview and news content in both written and video format, as well as to develop the publication’s profile on LinkedIn, where he has over 25,000 personal followers.
ALI is part of Mark Allen Group’s GHI Group aviation publications stable, which also includes Ground Handling International and Ramp Equipment News.
Mark will report to GHI Group Publisher Marc Young and work alongside ALI Deputy Editor James Muir.
