Mike Berger elected President of Air Transport Services Group

The Board of Directors of Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) has elected Mike Berger as President of the company.

The 62-year-old joined ATSG in 2018 as Chief Commercial Officer and President of ATSG subsidiary, Airborne Global Solutions.

Last year, Berger was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer.

In his new role, Berger will continue to lead ATSG’s growth and be responsible for aligning business operations with its long-term strategic plans.

Berger will continue to report to Rich Corrado, who remains CEO and Director of ATSG.

Corrado says, “His keen understanding of the global air freight industry and his ability to forge strong relationships with key customers have been, and will continue to be, decisive factors in ATSG's emergence as the world's premiere freighter lessor.”

Commenting on his new role, Berger says, “I look forward to continuing to realise ATSG's successful strategy of delivering its unique portfolio of flexible, innovative air transportation solutions to air carriers, e-commerce leaders, and government agencies in order to maximise shareholder value and drive long-term sustainable growth.”

Berger started his career at Airborne Express and held senior leadership positions at air express companies including DHL, TNT and Dicom Transportation Group before he joined ATSG.
