MSC Air Cargo will start services early next year when it takes delivery of the first of 4 MSC-branded Boeing 777-200Fs, which will be operated by Atlas Air.
Jannie Davel has been lead the air cargo business, bringing with him almost 30 years of industry experience with senior roles at DHL, Emirates SkyCargo and most recently at Delta Cargo, where he was Managing Director Commercial.
Commenting on the new project, Soren Toft, CEO of MSC, says, “We are delighted to announce the development of MSC Air Cargo and to welcome Jannie Davel to spearhead this exciting new offering for MSC clients. This is our first step into this market and we plan to continue exploring various avenues to develop air cargo in a way that complements our core business of container shipping.”
