NAM to upgrade fleet with B747-400Fs

Network Airline Management (NAM) will upgrade its fleet this year with two Boeing 747-400Fs from Air Atlanta Icelandic.

The production freighters will enter service late in Q3 and early on Q4, giving NAM a fleet of four freighters with the retirement of the last B747-400BDSF converted freighter.

Jonathan Clark, CEO of Network Aviation Group, says, “Operating a fleet of B747 nose door aircraft with their higher payload and nose door loading capability fits perfectly with NAM’s flexible business model, providing the ideal platform to carry heavy outsize cargo for NAM’s scheduled flight program and for worldwide charter availability.”

Baldvin Hermannsson, CEO of Air Atlanta Icelandic, added, “We are happy to further cement our long-standing relationship with Network Airline Management. The performance and professionalism of Network throughout the years makes us confident that the operation will be successful in the years to come.”
