National Air Cargo ships medical gowns to Haiti and Jamaica

National Air Cargo has partnered with Food for the Poor to ship surgical gowns to hospitals in Jamaica and Haiti.

The airline donated more than 300,000 surgical gowns to be distributed to hospitals in the two countries.

Christopher Alf, Chairman of National Air Cargo Group says: “This partnership with 'Food For The Poor' is a small token of our shared responsibility to provide needed medical relief supplies around the world.”

During the Covid-19 pandemic, National Air Cargo has moved medical supplies including protective masks, gowns and oxygen cylinders to the US, China, several African nations, India, Pakistan and Nepal.

National Air Cargo has also operated Boeing 747-400F flights from Shanghai to Port-au-Prince in Haiti transporting critical supplies including respirators as part of Covid-19 relief missions.
