Nippon Express awarded GDP at Kansai Airport

Nippon Express has been awarded Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification for its facility in Kansai, the NX-PHARMA Logistics Hub Kansai Airport.

With the certificate, Nippon Express is the first forwarder to operate a GDP-certified facility at Kansai International Airport, which will be utilised in conjunction with its GDP-certified Narita Temperature Controlled Hub at Tokyo’s Narita airport.

The facility is located in International Cargo Warehouse B and has a floor area of 569 square metres.

It is also ISO9001, TAPA Class A and AEO Bonded Warehouse certified, and services provided include storage of import and export cargo, packaging, and customs clearance.

Nippon Express Group has changed its name to NX Group when it moved to a holding company system.

Pharma is a priority industry for the “NX Group Business Plan 2023 – Dynamic Growth” plan, and Nippon Express says it is developing safe and secure pharma logistics platforms globally.
