The share transfer agreement was agreed on 12 May last year to acquire cargo-partner and its subsidiaries Multi Transport und Logistik Holding, Safer Overseas Transport Holding, cargo-partner GND and cargo-partner US.
The deal was completed on 4 January with Nippon Express sealing the deal through a special purpose company that is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Express Europe, Nippon Express’ European holding subsidiary.
Fischamend, Austria-based cargo-partner, has a logistics business base in central and eastern Europe and provides air and ocean freight forwarding in Europe, Asia and North America, as well as rail, truck and contract logistics services.
Acquiring cargo-partner will provide Nippon Express with access to central and eastern Europe, helping it expand its global network and enhance services across Europe.
