Nippon Express has obtained IATA CEIV Pharma certification for its hub at Kansai International Airport.
The certificate was obtained on Tuesday 5 April for its facility in the international cargo area and Nippon Express has been participating in the KIX Pharma Community project established by Kansai Airports Co.
The forwarder obtained CEIV certification for its Narita Temperature Controlled Hub near Tokyo’s Narita International Airport in March 2021, and has established a pharmaceutical distribution network connecting airports in eastern and western Japan.
Pharmaceuticals are a priority industry in the Nippon Express Group Business Plan 2023 – Dynamic Growth business plan, and Nippon Express is enhancing its network to meet customer demands.
