Nippon Express opens Mesa Logistics Center

Nippon Express USA has opened a semiconductor warehouse in Mesa, Arizona, located near to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The Mesa Logistics Center is located at 555 E Auto Center Drive and started operations in February with an official opening ceremony held on 24 April with 45 guests in attendance including Mesa City Council members and other government officials who joined Mitsuru Saito, President of Nippon Express Holdings and Atsushi Nagashima, Senior Managing Executive Officer.

It has a total floor area of 5,421m2, is fully air conditioned and is fitted with surveillance cameras, access control and 14 truck docks.

The warehouse is compliant with Transportation Security Administration requirements and offers environmental conditions necessary for handling semiconductors and electronic components controlling temperature, humidity, dust and static levels.

Arizona is home to several semiconductor-related firms who have production bases in the state and the Mesa Logistics Center has been specifically designed to serve customers in the industry.

The Mesa Logistics Center is 15 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport and has access to nearby semiconductor plants.
