Philippine Airlines starts digital sales with cargo.one

Philippine Airlines will make its capacity available for digital sales through a partnership with cargo.one.

Making capacity available on cargo.one will give Philippine Airlines access to thousands of freight forwarders digitally around the clock, reduce its sales costs and gain market responsive digital pricing.

Forwarders using cargo.one will be able to find, quote and book Philippine Airlines capacity for general cargo and perishables, connecting hubs in Manila, Clark, Cebu and Davao with dozens of important cargo destinations.

Jason Siy, VP Cargo at Philippine Airlines, says, “A key pillar of our digital transformation and continued growth is the ability to steer strategic digital sales. Gaining cargo.one’s technology and extensive experience means Philippine Airlines can build digital sales at speed and scale with low capital expenditure. Our teams are working closely to build a custom digital sales channel to maximise upon our many strengths.”

Moritz Claussen, Founder and Co-CEO of cargo.one, adds, “We are excited to launch Philippine Airlines digital sales journey and strengthen its exciting growth plans. cargo.one continually brings the freight forwarding market new capacity options first, an important element in how our platform enables even the very largest forwarders to win shipments faster, grow their business and serve their customers better than ever.”
