Qatar Airways approves Envirotainer Releye RAP containers

Pharma Airlines
Qatar Airways Cargo has approved the Envirotainer Releye RAP container for use across its network.

The Releye RAP container can accommodate five pallets and like the three pallet Releye RLP, the RAP’s air flow technology controls and maintains temperature stability in the cargo hold.

Monitoring is carried out by the Envirotainer Control Tower, a service team who monitor each shipment 24/7 and intervene in case of any deviation.

The containers have extended battery life, the largest internal volume on the market and the low weight reducing their CO2 footprint.

Frederik Linner, Chief Business Development Officer of Envirotainer says: “The Envirotainer Releye RAP is part of the Releye series, and the RAP solution for the future. It not only allows Qatar Airways Cargo to offer its customers the newest, fully connected, active transport solution to protect the integrity and quality of their sensitive pharmaceutical products, but also enables complete visibility along the transport chain.”

Guillaume Halleux, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways Cargo says: “The Releye RAP’s capability of covering transit times and delays without the need of recharging, together with the possibility to track and monitor the product condition, location, temperature, humidity, battery levels, door openings, and location of the shipment, offer a superior stability that sharply contrasts the uncertainty that the pandemic continues to bring.”
