Qatar Airways extends Chinese network

Qatar Airways Cargo has extended its Chinese network with flights to Chengdu and Chongqing.

Flights to Chengdu started on 23rd September and Chongqing on 25th September, with both operating 3 times a week offering belly capacity on Airbus A330-300s.

Both stations will primarily serve exports, offering 84 tonnes of capacity each way with exports mainly consisting of technology and imports of general cargo, fish and seafood, and other perishables.

Elisabeth Oudkerk, SVP Cargo Sales and Network Planning, says, “We are pleased to expand our network in Mainland China with these new destinations and offer our customers direct belly hold capacity for their imports and exports out of these key markets.”

Qatar Airways Cargo serves Chinese destinations including Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Zhengzhou, offering more than 2,700 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity each way.
