Qatar Airways rolls out WebCargo by Freightos platform globally

Qatar Airways Cargo will roll out WebCargo by Freightos e-booking platform across its network from 23 August.

Freight forwarders will be able to place bookings with live rates and capacity on the platform.

The airline started using WebCargo by Freightos in February, starting in France, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Spain and the Netherlands, followed by much of Europe and the USA following in July.

Guillaume Halleux, chief officer cargo of Qatar Airways says: “Within a short span of six months, we will complete our global rollout of WebCargo by Freightos on 23 August and I am proud of all our teams who have worked dedicatedly all these months to ensure a successful implementation.”

Zvi Schreiber, CEO of Freightos Group says: “We are proud to now be expanding our partnership to include an additional 39 countries, allowing key markets such as India, Japan, and Latin America direct access to real-time pricing, capacity, and e-bookings on the world’s largest cargo airline.”
