SATS handles Hainan Airlines in Saudi Arabia

Hainan Airlines has selected SATS to provide cargo handling services in Saudi Arabia.

The Chinese airline operates three passenger flights a week to Riyadh and Jeddah, and SATS will provide warehouse handling services for over 2,400 tonnes of import, export and transit cargo annually.

SATS has been providing air cargo services in Saudi Arabia for six years and handles over 60,000 tonnes of cargo and mail for 19 airline customers.

SATS and WFS share our approach and, together, they now offer us the opportunity to work with a single partner at more major airports across our network.”

SATS offers cargo services in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah.

The SATS Airfreight Terminal in Riyadh covers 30,000m2 and has over 300,000 tonnes of cargo capacity, the Dammam warehouse is also 30,000m2 and the 8,000m2 facility in Jeddah has a capacity of 36,000 tonnes a year.

SATS provides road feeder services to the three airports and to Medina Airport.
