The contract, which started on 1 February, means WFS will serve Saudia Cargo in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, London, Manchester, Brussels, New York and Washington.
With the contract, WFS will handle over 160,000 tonnes of cargo annually for Saudia Cargo, in addition to providing ramp handling services for cargo on over 5,000 passenger and freighter flights a year.
The contract was awarded following a rigorous tender process where Saudia Cargo carried out technical visits to each WFS station to check that they met company standards, with meetings being held with key local staff.
Teddy Zebitz, CEO of Saudia Cargo and John Batten, Executive Vice President of EMEAA at WFS formally signed the contract at a ceremony held in Saudia Cargo’s Jeddah headquarters.
