The services started on Monday 15 March and operate on Mondays and Fridays, connecting Shenzhen with Riyadh.
The flights open up opportunities for Chinese companies, particularly in the e-commerce sector as Shenzhen hosts leading companies including Alibaba, Temu and TikTok.

Saudia Cargo has partnerships with several major Chinese companies in the e-commerce sector including Cainiao, the logistics arm of Alibaba.
The airline is Cainiao’s largest partner in Saudi Arabia, helping it serve domestic and international e-commerce markets.
