Saudia Cargo to undergo IATA CEIV Pharma certification

Saudia Cargo will undergo IATA CEIV Pharma certification, it announced at the IATA World Cargo Symposium.

The agreement was signed yesterday (Wednesday 28 September) at the IATA WCS in London by Teddy Zebitz, CEO of Saudia Cargo, and Frederic Leger, Senior Vice President Commercial Products and Services at IATA.

For the next few months, Saudia Cargo will prepare multiple aspects of its operations, particularly staff competency to handle pharmaceuticals, to comply with CEIV requirements on top of GDP (Good Distribution Practices).

Zebitz says, “Human lives are paramount in our operations whether it involves staff or end-users. This give our customers and partners the continued confidence and peace of mind that the pharmaceuticals we transport are treated with utmost care in line with international standards.”
