The new facility optimises import and export operations, improving flexibility and offering customers faster turnaround times.
The airside logistics centre is expected to cut on-airport processing time from 4-6 hours to 1.5-2 hours.
Direct airside access means cargo is transferred more efficiently between the tarmac and logistics centre.
For imports, the access speeds up the process of getting goods from the terminal for faster sorting and distribution, which means customers can receive their deliveries earlier and have multiple delivery waves in a single day.
